Year of the Tiger on Parade is a project of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco. Six local artists were each given a tiger sculpture to decorate, in conjunction with corporate sponsors.

1. Voyager Tiger, Union Square
2. Posterity Tiger, Asian Art Museum
3. Wealth and Health Tiger, Portsmouth Square
4. Good Fortune Tiger, Thrive Plaza, Chase Center
5. Harvester Tiger. Lucky Supermarket, Lakeshore Plaza, Sloat Blvd.
6. Horizon Tiger, Whole Foods Market, Stonestown Galleria

The tigers were to be displayed January 17 to February 19, 2022. Afterward, they would be auctioned off to raise funds for local nonprofit organizations.

I used February 17 to take this Mystery Trip of the Tigers, using only public transit to make the journey from Berryessa BART.

After finishing the trip around the city, I got photos of Chinese New Year decorated cable car 15 at the Powell St. turntable.

As usual, there are a lot of other transit vehicles photographed en route, some of which I rode. The East Oakland division of AC Transit (images 3-12) is photographed from my BART train to SF and were edited in Photoshop Express to improve the quality. The Mongolian Beef lunch (images 41-42) is at Chinatown Restaurant near Portsmouth Square, and the sandwich (image 219) is from Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks at Westfield San Francisco.

Nikon D3500 and Samsung Galaxy A32 5G cameras yielded 219 photos.
