I was approved to get my floating holiday on Tuesday, so I made this an overnight
trip to Sacramento. Photography started with Manteca Transit, then San Joaquin RTD in Stockton.
Got lucky in finding a
New Flyer XH40 on route 555, so I took pictures. Drove by the downtown transit center
and saw what I thought was the same bus assigned to the 578. However, it was a different
fleet number, so I captured two hydrogen buses. Went by the Miracle Mile on Pacific Avenue
and got photos of a Gillig battery bus on the 40 local along with an express liveried
Nova Bus articulated. Next was stopping in Lodi, where I managed to get a few
low floor cutaways and a Gillig. A lucky Lodi Unified School District bus and
a South County Transit express from Cosumnes River College in Sacramento went by me
at the north end of Cherokee Lane. Then I checked Elk Grove and got one local route
using an RT bus and an express line using an original eTrans livery bus.
Nikon D5600 camera yielded 166 photos including one cropped version.
