ABOUT PCC 1073:

PCC streetcar no. 1073 was built in 1947 by St. Louis Car Co. for Twin City Rapid Transit Co. as their number 361. Public Service Coordinated Transport bought the car for the Newark City Subway line in 1953 and numbered it 22. Muni obtained it in 2004 and had it rebuilt to represent the El Paso City Lines international route to Juarez, Mexico. The car went to Brookville Equipment Co. for rewiring and other rehabilitation and entered service in 2012.
